the week b4 flying off to cambodia

busy busy week...lot's of stuff to prepare, to do and many activites to attend...i got loads of photos to prove my busy schedule (kindly refer to facebook!) hehez...anyway...it's now less than 6 hrs to my flight to cambodia (youth expedition project!)...PROJECT ANGEL 10! Yesh...i'll be gone for a whooping 3 weeks...be back on 10 june! so do rmb to sms me a 'welcome back'! =)

tracing back to the pulau ubin trip cum chalet for PAX tat i mentioned b4...it's really rewarding and enriching in the sense that almost every part of the trip was new to me (9 interesting challenges to overcome...i like trekking at night...cool!)...so i did enjoyed myself...knowing more abt my team mates (impt cos we're going to spend 3 weeks tgt at a foreign land!), learning abt new perspectives on certain issues, teamwork, trust...blah blah (in the sense tat it's a bit too philosophical for me...my brain cannot absorb so many values at one go!)but i did learn something...hope i won't forget (cos i got the habit to do so...yikes!)!

then i arranged a dinner appt with ong on wed at compass pt (haiz...no photos to prove)...it's quite some time since i saw her last time...pretty as ever...hahaz...we had a nice meal at burger king...chatted and gossip as usual abt herself and other ppl's love lives...wahahaz...though the time was short but it was definitely a nice catch up! ahhh! really miss my wife & mistress but cos all of us are busy so no time to meet up...however...i'll be free when i'm back...so muz meet up! all the best to ong (for special sem), ping (for training & practice) & dor (relationship! hehe)

later the week...had scamp senior gathering at chevron...a very nice chalet i shld say cos i've never been there b4...it was actually quite fun as we played games and had bbq (nice games & food...not as bad as i thought)...it was also a good opportunity to know the ppl in my grp though i noe most of them while the rest i dunno didnt come except for 1...it made me look forward to the actual scamp! hehez...

back to PAX...we had a pre-expedition trip to a boys home...it's part of a learning process for us...to be able to communicate with these children...open up to them so tat they'll do the same as well...similar situation that we may face over at cambodia when we teach the kids. In addition, i realised that we shldnt stereotype the boys in such home...cos they're not actually naughty in nature...in fact, they're rather well-behaved and enthu when we conduct the games! it's probably the upbringing or environment constraints tat make them who they are initially...but as long as they're guided at the right path...it's not too late to change for the better! ahhh...yes...i'm inspired by the words of my team mates...i do learn a lot huh!

yeah! a farewell dinner for the gurgle ppl who're flying off to cambodia (including me of cos!)...thanx to the committee & ppl who turned up...thanx to urong for the good recommendation on korean food! nice nice...thanx to xy for the photos! (didn't expect tat coming!)...thanx to yl, qingfang, dee, gim sen as well...for their presence for me, cindy, urong & chee keong! really touched and i had fun eating & taking loads of photos!

lastly...i declare i'll miss many ppl when i'm at cambodia during this period of time! my family, friends, tv, computer, bed, bolster, pillow...hahaz...hope ya all miss me as well! it's a MUST anyway! so i won't be blogging for 3 weeks (duh!) dun blame me for tat...will be back with loads of pics at cambodia & souvenirs!
